First off, I want to say sorry that it’s been so long so I posted, but a family situation has been taking up quite a bit of my time lately. On top of that, probably related to that, when I did get to my keyboard I was having trouble getting my writing to work, and when it did it was going slowly, but then any words added to the story is good, right?
Then last weekend, I sent the last couple of chapters to my beta to have a read through, and as ever she got back to me with comments and suggestions. But this time, she was quick to point out a glaring flaw in the plot. Something I should have seen but didn’t. I’m just pleased it was picked up before I got much further into the story! It’s taking me some time to get the story back on track because of this, but I will!
As the story I’m talking about is a sequel – to my popular fantasy novel, The Eynan – I’m keen to get it finished sooner rather than later, but not at the cost of spoiling the story. I’m aware that quite a few of you are looking forward to where I take my characters next:)
Still got a ways to go yet before I can even write The End to my novel, but hopefully now I’ve got the story back on track it will flow better for me:)
